Advanced Chart Editor

The Advanced charting editor allows you to further customize classic charts if you find that you need additional options not available in the chart wizard. The Advanced editor is not available for standard charts. When using the advanced features, you should be aware that many of the options may not work when the chart is viewed in the Argos Web Viewer. When developing for the Web Viewer, we recommend using a standard chart, which has the greatest feature compatibility with charts in the Web Viewer.

Warning: Once you edit a chart using the Advanced Editor, you will not be able to edit it again with the Chart Wizard.

Some of the reasons you may need to use the Advanced Editor are:

The Chart Type you want is not available in the Chart Wizard.
You have very specific and detailed formatting requirements that are not available in the Chart Wizard (i.e., changing the wall color).
The data you want to work with is not in an SQL variable dataset.

The Editing dialog which exists within the Advanced Chart Editor. A large number of options are listed which are used for configuring the chart.
